Once known proudly across local pitches as Gwersyllt Foresters, the name carried history in the spirit of its players, coaches, and families. Though the club’s original chapter came to a quiet close, its memory never faded. Today, we proudly bring that identity back. Not just as a name, but as a mission.
While it may seem like a relaunch, we view it as a respectful continuation of what the Foresters once stood for: opportunity, unity, and community pride. Now reimagined for a new generation, Wrexham Foresters exists to honour the past while building the future, providing a home for grassroots players, families, and fans who want to be part of something bigger. We don’t just wear the badge. We honour the story and together, we’re writing its next great chapter.
More than skills, we build confidence, resilience, and leadership.
Our goal is to develop players on and off the pitch. We focus on technical ability, decision-making, and tactical awareness—but we also nurture self-belief, teamwork, and responsibility. Every session is a step toward becoming not just a better athlete, but a better person.
Every player deserves a place, and every voice deserves to be heard.
We believe football should reflect the full diversity of our community. That’s why we welcome players from all backgrounds and ability levels, creating safe spaces where talent can grow without barriers. Equality, respect, and representation are not ideals—we make them real every day.
From grassroots to glory, we prepare players for every level.
Our programs are built with intention. Whether a player dreams of playing at national level, coaching youth football, or staying active with friends, we offer the structure and support to help them reach their goals. We open doors—then we help players walk through them.
We’re here for more than football, we’re here for Wrexham.
Wrexham Foresters isn’t just a club, it’s a community partner. We show up with purpose: running local programs, hosting events, and volunteering alongside families and neighbors. Every kit worn, goal scored, and hand shaken is done in service to the town we love.
